Herd Share Terms of Service

Please read this agreement carefully. By joining our herddshare, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of the 2026 Peasant Plot Farms Herd Share Agreement.

This is a legally binding herd ownership and boarding agreement.

HERD SHARE PURCHASE

Herd Share Buy-In Agreement (Must agree to Both Options)
I understand there is a one-time, non-refundable $50 herd share buy-in fee.
I agree to purchase one herd share for $50.

Boarding & Herd Management Fee Agreement
I agree to pay $10 per gallon of milk received as a boarding and herd management fee.

MILK DISTRIBUTION

Milk Acknowledgment
I understand milk production varies and no specific quantity is guaranteed.
I understand the milk provided is raw (unpasteurized).

JAR EXCHANGE POLICY
It is your responsibility to have empty jars cleaned and ready for exchange, along with the lids. If you are having your milk delivered, ensure the jars and a cooler are outside if you will not be home for delivery, as well as payment or a payment method online.

Jar Exchange Agreement
I agree to return all previously issued jars weekly, cleaned and sanitized, on a one-for-one exchange basis.
I understand that failure to return clean jars may result in the suspension of milk distribution or the imposition of replacement charges.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Raw Milk Risk Acknowledgment

I understand raw milk may contain naturally occurring bacteria.
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with consuming raw milk.
I understand Peasant Plot Farms makes no medical or health claims regarding this milk.

NEW MEXICO COMPLIANCE DISCLOSURE
New Mexico Regulatory Disclosure Agreement
I understand this is a private herd ownership and boarding agreement, not a retail sale of milk.
I understand the milk is not pasteurized, inspected, or licensed for retail sale under New Mexico dairy regulations.

HANDLING & STORAGE AGREEMENT

Handling & Storage Agreement

I agree to refrigerate milk at 40°F or below immediately upon receipt
I agree not to resell, redistribute, or commercially market milk received under this agreement

LIABILITY RELEASE

Liability Release Agreement

I agree to release and hold harmless Peasant Plot Farms, its owners, employees, and agents from liability arising from consumption of raw milk or improper handling after delivery.
